The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Monday, March 30, 2015 announced the setting up of a fact finding mission to look into allegations by the All Progressives Congress, APC, that there was no election in Rivers State, hence the call for a cancellation of polls in the state.
Making the announcement via its official Twitter handle, INEC stated that it had sent a committee to look into the elections in the state, and would report to the commission before announcement of the official figures are announced.
