Today is a sad one for Nigeria’s entertainment industry as popular Nollywood actor Clems Onyeka was gunned down by a stray bullet in Asaba, Delta State in the afternoon of Tuesday, October 14, 2014.
According to filmmaker, Morgan Ukaegbu, who spoke with The Trent, Onyeka was gunned down by a stray bullet during a fire exchange between police and robbers who attacked a bank bullion van along Summit Express, Asaba.
The actor who recently won an award for ‘Best Fast Rising Actor of 2014’, died on the spot and his head was blown open.
Onyeka was married with three children and he is popular for his role in hit movie, ‘Sorrowful Kingdom’. His most recent work is ‘Wisdow’s Testimony’ in which he plays a lawyer (see poster below).
