2016 can officially be dubbed the year of drama in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Former member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Blackface recently accused Wizkid of stealing his melody. He then accused his longtime friend and former band member, 2face and the legend’s manager, Efe Omorogbe of stealing his songs.
2face has been silent about the matter until a Channels TV reporter caught up with him recently and here’s what the upset singer had this to say:
“It is just so unfortunate. I do not know where it is coming from . I am trying to think of different reasons. At first I though his account was hacked but apparently it wasn’t hacked. We go trash the whole matter but I got nothing but love and respect for him. it is just so unfortunate that he is coming at me like that.”
When he was asked if he still considers Blackface a friend, 2baba as he is now called had this to say:
“Apparently he doesn’t consider me his friend anymore. I wish him no ill will. Let’s leave it like that for now.”
