“This man jumped from the 3rd floor of the Lagos State Magistrate Court in Ogba. He owed 40k. Been in prison on remand for the past 6 months. After his case today, he took the leap to his death. The law should have a human face. This is very sad,” he wrote as he shared three graphic photos.

The images are very graphic. Viewer discretion is advised.

The man’s body can be seen lying on a staircase inside a pool of blood. Prison officials are seen standing closeby.

This is a sad day for the criminal justice system in Nigeria which is badly in need of an overhaul.
