A bullfighter has gotten more than he expected after he was attacked by a bull in his balls which led to the loss of one of his testicles.
Banderillero Marco Gala from Spain suffered severe bruising after he thrust two spears into a bulls back at a Sunday performance, the huge black fighting bull thrust its left horn into Marco Galan’s groin, lifting him in the air.
The bull’s right horn went through Galan’s blue and white jacket, knocking him to the ground. Video images showed he was dragged to the ground before other bullfighters used their capes to lure the animal away.
The accident happened at Madrid’s Las Ventas bullring. Footage shows Marcos walking to the bullring’s infirmary where he underwent surgery before being taken to Madrid’s Hospital San Francisco de Asis.
