The NFF announced the developments via its website after a meeting of the Technical and Development Committee on Friday.

According to Chris Green, chairman of the Technical Committee, the coaching crew will work under the office of the NFF Technical Director Shaibu Amodu ahead of the crucial qualification duel against the Pharaohs.

“We have decided as a matter of urgency to get a consortium of coaches to oversee the team in the mean time,” Green told media upon concluding a three-hour long meeting today in Abuja.

“We have two very important matches coming up in [one in] Kaduna and the other in Cario which seem late in the time. [Oliseh’s resignation] came as a rude shock.

“We were not guarded when this event happened. We need to do what we ought to get the best of the very bad situation,” he concluded.

Siasia will return to take charge of the Super Eagles combining with leading the Dream Team VI to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro later in the year.

He had a brief stint in charge of the Super Eagles but was sacked barely 10 months in the saddle after he failed to lead the country to the 2012 Afcon in Gabon an Equatorial Guinea.
