The Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force, JNDLF, a new Niger Delta militant group, has given the Nigerian military a 72-hour ultimatum to leave the troubled Niger Delta region.

In a statement issued on Thursday, June 2, 2016, the group threatened to declare full blown war against the Nigerian state if the military continue its operation in the region.

This is a developing story.
