Italian striker, Mario Balotelli is set to join AC Milan on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool. The 25-year-old managed just one premier league goal for the Reds after he was bought from AC Milan for £16m a year ago.
Balotelli will take a pay-cut to join Milan with Liverpool contributing to his wages. Speaking after completing his medicals, the striker who celebrated his 25th birthday about a fortnight ago said:
“I always had Milan in my heart and always had hope that I would return one day.”
“Will I end my career here? I just have to start to work and have a good year. I’m looking forward to training and proving my worth. I have a lot of motivation but I just have to work and not speak.”
Will Balotelli get it right this time?
