[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has never hidden its hatred for democracy. In Edo, just like Rivers, they will do everything to undermine democracy.
Edo people must be ready to pay the high price in entrenching their will and protecting their votes.
Nothing more, nothing less. The alternative is slavery.
Ordinarily, it should just be about casting votes and allowing the electoral umpire declare results.
But under this APC, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the umpire must not be left to itself.
It has shown with several instances that it lacks the integrity to be isolated from the corruption, including electoral corruption, that bedevils Nigeria under this APC government.
Therefore, Edo people must follow INEC fender to bumper, after casting their votes to ensure that the results are reflective of their very will as expressed in the ballot. Nothing must be left to chance. Please spread the word.
