CNN has revealed that a patient had been hospitalised in Madrid and was conveyed in the same ambulance that carried Ebola patient Teresa Ramos, earlier in October, source told Al Goodman.
The ambulance that carried Romero on Monday, October 6, 2014 from her resident to the Alcorcon hospital, where she was diagnosed eventually with the Ebola virus. The ambulance was reported to have continued its service after dropping Romero at the hospital as she has not been diagnose about the time. This means that the bus had carried patients before officials realized it had to be decontaminated, the source said.
According to CNN, the new patient, who was on board the ambulance after Romero, had been kept under close surveillance at her home, but reported a fever on Thursday, October 16, 2014 and was rushed in a special protected ambulance to the Carlos III Hospital, where Romero is also being treated.
