President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as the new Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC.
Obi’s appointment which was announced on Monday, April 27, 2015 is to take place with immediate effect.
President Jonathan also confirmed the appointment of the Acting Director General, Mounir Gwazo, as the Director General of the Commission.
