President Goodluck Jonathan will on Monday, January 12, 2015 pay a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the latter’s Abeokuta, Ogun State residence, Punch reports.
This comes amidst media reports that both individuals have lost love, with Obasanjo openly criticizing President Jonathan’s administration while President Jonathan has delivered a few subliminal shots of his own.
The rumors of the rift has seemingly died down after Obasanjo made a surprise appearance at President Jonathan’s foster daughter’s wedding on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
According to reports, the duo will discuss issues bothering on Nigeria, including an attempt by President Jonathan to persuade Obasanjo to actively participate in the activities of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
