Reality ‘Cech’ For Arsenal As West Ham Shock Wenger’s Boys

Must read

Fans of Arsenal football club will be so disappointed in their team. The Gunners failed to kick-off the 2015/2016 premier league season after falling to a 0-2 defeat inflicted on them by a resilient West Ham side.

The Arsene Wenger led side had raised the hopes of their fans by an outstanding performance in pre-season games which was topped by a 1-0 victory over premier league champions, Chelsea just last weekend.

The London side made a big impact signing in the summer after buying Petr Cech from the champions, Chelsea. The big Czech international was however quite culpable for both goals conceded by the Gunners against West Ham on Sunday.

The first goal of the game came in the 43rd minute after Cheikhou Kouyate latched onto a Dimitri Payet free-kick with his head as he nodded the ball past the onrushing Cech.

New West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic was destined to win his first premier league game as his side struck again in the 57th minute through Mauro Zarate.

West Ham had capitalized on Arsenal’s poor defensive movement and Zarate retrieved the ball and fired in a shot which didn’t have so much power but it surprisingly beat the Czech goalkeeper who didn’t look ready for the ball.
