In what appeared a rude shock to many observers on Monday, Deji Adeyanju, a PDP Twitter activist who played a prominent role in the PDP online presidential campaign in the just concluded March 28 presidential election took his party, the PDP, former President Jonathan and Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State to the cleaners over the outcome of the PDP Kogi State gubernatorial primary held in Lokoja on Monday.
Adeyanju who was an aide to former President Jonathan’s spokesperson Doyin Okupe lamented the loss of his preferred candidate Jibrin Isah Echocho in the Kogi State primary and resorted to a set of tweets running down the PDP, Idris Wada and former President Jonathan.
In his tweets, Adeyanju noted that PDP lost the presidential election because it fielded Goodluck Jonathan. He then went on accusing Governor Wada of bribing the PDP delegates.

Some Nigerian Twitter users responded to the tweets by Adeyanju with shock and amazement while others called for caution over his unguarded utterances. Some pro APC Twitter users also cashed in on the incident to throw snide remarks at the PDP.
Adeyanju recently caused a stir in the social media when he tweeted pictures he took with Aisha Buhari in London.
