RIP: Babangida Muhammad, One Of The 71 Victims Of #AbujaBombBlast (PICTURED)

Yesterday, April 14, 2014, Nigeria was thrown into mourning when a bomb exploded in a busy bus park in the early hours of the day at Nyanya in Abuja.

Authorities have given the official death figure at 71, and 124 people were injured in the shocking terrorist act that has moved the nation.

President Goodluck Jonathan, Senate President David Mark, Inspector General of Police visited the crime scene yesterday, and the victims in the hospital at Asokoro.

A citizen, Abu Hannefah has identified one of the victims of the horrible attack yesterday as a friend, Babangida Muhammed. Muhammed was on his way to work when his life was cut short in this cowardly act.

As more information emerges on the victims of this cruel act, we will continue to update you.

We call on the authorities of which President Goodluck Jonathan is head to make sure that the people behind this crime are brought to justice.
