SAD: Nigerian Businessman, Molade Okoya Thomas Dies At 79

Popular Nigerian businessman, Chief Molade Okoya Thomas is dead.

He died on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the age of 79 and was announced on Facebook and other social media platforms.


Until his death, Okoya was the Asoju Oba of Lagos, Babasuwa of Ijebu-Remo, Odofin of Ife, the Chancellor of Lagos State University and chairman of CFAO Nigeria Limited.

He was also a well known philanthropist and an ardent sports lover. he sponsored lots of sports activities including the popular annual Asoju Oba Table Tennis Championship in Lagos.

He will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace!
