President Goodluck Jonathan’s younger sister identified as Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei was on Sunday, January 4, 2014 confirmed dead in a hospital in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state’s capital.
This development was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati via a statement.
According to the statement, Mrs. Jonathan-Olei who was 52-years-old suffered a brief illness before she finally gave up the ghost.
Abati further stated that the burial arrangements would be announced to the general public in due course.
