Secret Genocide Ongoing In Imo State – IPOB Cries Out

Must read

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have raised the alarm over the incessant killing of youths in Imo State.

The group accused the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, of being responsible for “the secret genocide”, saying that he has endorsed the elimination of many innocent youths for committing no known crime other than going on flashy cars.

IPOB in a statement on Thursday, December 9, 2021, by the Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, condemned the numerous deaths going on in Imo State, especially during this festive period.

The statement reads: “The elders, religious leaders, and traditional rulers in the region must ask Hope Uzodinma what the youths of our region committed against him that warranted these killings.

“Hope Uzodinma invited Fulani security agents to eliminate Imo youths and innocent people in the state. The traditional rulers, elders, and religious leaders have suddenly gone into hiding in Imo State because of Fulani appointed-governor.

“He was appointed to perfect their agenda for the elimination of Imo youths. Imo youths have suffered in the hands of Hope Uzodinma and APC party. It’s now very obvious that the Administrator of Imo state was appointed to kill our youths without any cause.

“The world should take note of these atrocities going on in Imo State and call the perpetrators to order. Hope Uzodinma, APC party, and Nigeria government should allow Imo State youths to go around their lawful businesses this festive season.”

IPOB called on Amnesty International and other reputable human rights organisations to be aware of the evil perpetrated by the Nigeria Government against Imo citizens this time.

“They are just killing innocent people in the name of looking for ESN operatives. The gruesome killings going on now in Imo State are condemnable and unheard of.

“Why can’t they take those they arrest to their station for interrogation instead of killing them extra-judicially” Key questions to ask: Were these youths arrested with arms? Were they violent? Where on earth is it a crime to ride a flashy car?”
