A senator from Bayelsa State, Ben Murray Bruce has questioned the independence of the Nigerian media. The outspoken first time Senator took to micro-blogging site, Twitter to discuss why Nigeria’s media may not really be autonomous afterall.
Mr. Bruce believes that any press which is owned by politicians cannot effectively check the excesses of the politicans
