A serial underwear thief identified as Chigozie Ugwu, 22, has been nabbed by the police operatives in Anambra State with about 52 female panties.
Ugwu, was paraded at the state Police Command Headquarters on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 alongside some suspected cult members and armed robbers.
He was also said to be involved in burglary, stealing items valued at N500,000 from a shop along Emma Nnaemeka street in Awka, the state capital, Punch reports
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ali Okechukwu, thanked the people of the state for giving the police the tip off that led to the arrest of the suspects.
