Sex Workers Storm The Streets To Protest Member’s Murder In Ogun (PHOTO)

The National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP), on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 allegedly stormed the streets of Abeokuta, capital city of Ogun State to protest the murder of one of their members identified as Sitira aka Titi

23-year-old Titi was allegedly murdered by suspected ritualists who dumped her remains at a refuse site at Oloomore junction, in the town, over the weekend.

The ritualists had allegedly removed some vital parts of Titi’s body before abandoning her at the refuse site.

Irked by the incident, the members of the NANP threatened to wreck havoc in the town if the police refuses to investigate the matter to ensure the perpetrators of the act are brought to book.

About 50 of the protesting association members clad in black with lit candles reportedly stormed the state secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oke-Ilewofrom where they proceeded to the streets chanting solidarity songs amidst loud wailings.

They rained curses on the unnamed killers of their colleague.

They said, “You have done something grievous, you have done something grievous by killing Titi prematurely. The killers‎ of Titi (Sitira) have done something grievous. Their children will die, their children will die, those that killed Titi, will lose their children.”
