“For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.” I Corinthians 4:15

Relationships are very important: God observed Adam and concluded that it wasn’t good for him to be alone. We all need different kinds of relationships in our lives for us to thrive and grow.

It’s not enough to have friends; yes, friendships are important relationships, but friends cannot meet every important need in your life. You need people speaking into your life, counsellors, teachers, instructors, mentors, fathers, etc. Friends are on the same level with you; you need people above you who can lift you up continually. Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, “As you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children.” I Thessalonians 2:11

The number of quality relationships you have determines how rich you are. Maximize relationships: instead of always asking for fish, sit down and learn from them how to fish. Don’t ever isolate yourself or think that you know it all; keep receiving; keep feeding your spirit and your soul; put yourself under people who will be genuinely interested in your growth and development; read books and listen to inspiring and informative materials, and watch how your life improves.

Good morning.
