Fear is one of the most dangerous things on earth; a lot of us don’t even realize how dangerous it is. The Bible says that fear has torment. There are people living in constant fear, they cannot even enjoy their sleep. Fear has kept a lot of people in bondage: they should not be where they are now, but they have remained there because of fear.
Fear is not normal. You have to start seeing it as abnormal if you want to experience freedom from it. There’s nothing normal about it; the Bible says that we live by faith, not fear. Faith is normal for us, not fear.
Certain things will try to make you afraid, e.g. bad news, rumours, etc, but you must exercise faith in God and in His word instead of being afraid. God says, fear not. Meaning that fear is a choice. Stop choosing to be afraid; be strong in faith.
Stop looking at the greatness of the storm, God is greater, stronger and more powerful than any challenge of life. When God is with you, you have no reason to fear. Fear not!
Prophetic Declaration
I do not fear; I refuse to fear; I live by faith not by fear! Greater is He that is in me than whatever is in the world. I am not tormented by fear, I am righteous, therefore I am as bold as a lion! I am strong and I am courageous; I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!
