Thanksgiving glorifies God. Psalm 50:23 says, “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”
Every person on earth was created for the glory of God. Therefore, it’s our duty as children of God to ensure that people around us are constantly giving glory to God. How do we do that? We have to give them reasons to be grateful and thankful! Matthew 5:16 says that our good deeds should shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise our heavenly Father.
That’s what we must do, especially in this season. First we must all be thankful to God for giving us His Son, and then we must let the world know about God’s precious gift to us. We’ve got to preach the good news; we’ve got to get men saved. The more people who are saved, the more thanksgiving that’s offered, and the more God is glorified! Hallelujah.
Prophetic Declaration
I was created for the glory of God. From today I will have a habit of thanking God, because thanksgiving glorifies Him. I will also ensure that through my life and deeds, people around me will have reasons to give glory to God. Amen.
