The blood of Jesus was shed, not only for our sins, but also for our victory. The blood of Jesus is upon every child of God; it’s one of the three things that identifies us as children of God: 1 John 5:8 says, “And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.”
Because of the blood of Jesus we are overcomers. 1 John 5:4 says, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” Revelations 12:11 also says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
The blood of Jesus works for us 24 hours every blessed day! Hebrews 12:24 reveals that it is speaking for us. It is speaking to the Father, and it is speaking against the forces of darkness. There is no reason to fear, we are preserved by the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah!
