Imagine a life of riches, honour and good health: and you know, the riches that comes from God is without sorrow: wow! What a life; a life that many dream about and pray for every day.
Does God want us to have such a great life here on earth? Yes; why not? As long as we have the right attitude, especially towards riches. Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 6:17-19, “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”
By humility and the fear of the Lord everyone of us can enjoy riches and honour and life; it’s God’s word, therefore it’s a promise. In this month of May, may you enjoy God’s best. Amen.
