A Total Of N110 Billion Owed To Workers In States Across Nigeria

The outcry by workers in states of unpaid salaries by workers in states is no longer news. What is news is that a total of 110 Billion Naira is owned to worker in some states in the federation.

The affected states includes Osun, Rivers, Oyo, Ekiti, Kwara, Kogi, Ondo, Plateau, Benue, and Bauchi states.

According to reports from The Punch , The Nigerian Governors Forum have resolved to meet with the president to request a refund of monies spent on federal project to enable them pay workers.

Some states in federation owes worker as much as 10 month salaries, others 6-7 months while some 3 months.
