The reaction of a father-to-be was priceless when his wife broke the news that she had taken in after a 17-year long wait.
A few or no man would have reacted differently from shedding some hot tears – tears of joy though.
According to ABC 8 News, Dana Griffin-Graves and her husband Arkell had given up on having a family of their own after the woman suffered four miscarriages and a devastating still birth at six months.
The couple finally gave up on trial and decided to take whatever fate brings their way.
The visibly elated expectant mum explained: “It was definitely a struggle, a roller coaster with emotions… I just got to the point I was like, “you know what, I wanna stop trying”.’
Griffin-Graves was so excited when she discovered that she s almost five months gone after a visit to her doctor to find out why she wasn’t losing weight on her new fitness regime.
She came up with a unique way of breaking the great news to her husband and placed a buns and the ultrasound pictures in the oven.
The whole encounter was recorded an it was simply amazing, to say but the least.
She said: “His reaction was just priceless – I wasn’t expecting that at all. I knew that he would probably be emotional, but I definitely was not expecting the reaction that I received.”
“I’ve never been that excited before in my life. And not mainly for myself, for her,” the man added.
