Must read

A former senate president of Nigeria, Senator David Mark, on Sunday, May 22, 2016, said he would stand to defend the Idoma territory in Benue State against the invasion of the Fulani herdsmen.

Mark said that that the Idoma people were a united people and can never be divided by any group of people.

He spoke in Abuja during the Agatu peace concert, an event organized by One Idoma Initiative.

Mark said the Idoma people remained a force to reckon with in the nation, having produced no fewer than 140 professors who are in various callings in the world.

According to him, Nigeria remained inconclusive without acknowledging the Idoma nation, which had churned out great men and women in various professional fields.

He said “Idoma is a united nation and can never be divided by any persons or groups. I assure you that they will never win this war. We will continue to defend our territory. You cannot write the history of Nigeria without acknowledging the Idomas”.
