Brothers and sisters, there’s nothing too costly to give to God. The Bible says that He is great and greatly to be praised. In other words, being a great God, He is worthy of great gifts. Hallelujah!
The quality of your offering shows how much you esteem and honour the Lord. I have never seen anyone give a beggar by the road, say a million Naira or the equivalent in any currency, but there are people who even though they are not beggars receive such amounts and even more as gifts. It’s all about perception: what we give to people is based on our perception of them.
What would you give to God if you knew that your offering could cause God to give you a child, a visa, a house, a car, a job, or anything else that you have always wanted? Solomon loved the Lord, he offered a thousand burnt offerings, and the Bible says that at Gibeon the Lord appeared to him in a dream by night; and said, “Ask! What shall I give you?” Wow!
