Reports emanating from Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) say that there were riots in parts of town on Thursday, June 20, 2014 following the demolition of houses in the area.
The demolition which was said to have claimed the life of an unnamed teenager has sparked outrage among residents.
Images posted on social media platform, Twitter show residents setting up bonfires and blockading the road from Kubwa towards Gwarimpa with business coming to a close.
The rioting also had the presence of Charles Oputa, son of Late Supreme Court Justice Chukwudifu Oputa popularly know as Charly Boy.
