Ace broadcaster and television producer, Mike Enahoro, has died, Vanguard reports.
Enahoro, who died on Friday, October 9, 2015 carved a niche for himself during his days as a news caster on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) before his retirement in the 1990’s.
His unique voice, dress code and diction drew the attention of over 30 million viewers to the station.
Enahoro was from the famous family of Chief Anthony Enahoro, a foremost anti-colonial and pro-democracy nationalist who moved the motion for Nigeria’s independence from the British in 1957.
The same family in Uromi Edo State also produced Peter Enahoro popularly known as Peter Pan, the youngest editor of the Daily Times Newspaper of Nigeria.
The family is yet to issue a statement on the actual cause of Enahoro’s death as at the time of filing this report.
