The cloud is thick as a great wind of acclaim, unity, succour, honour and self respect is about to blow in the heart land of Igboland; Enugu on Wednesday and Thursday, May 20 – 21, 2015 as great a body of Igbo intelligentsia, Clergy, Elders and Patriots, both at home and in Diaspora, gather for the Inaugural Conference of Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) & Public Presentation of two volume book on the Igbo nation in history.

The event is going to be attended by who is who in Igbo land.

It is slated to hold from to hold from Wednesday, May 20 to Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the 5,000 sitting capacity Unity Hall, Emene, opposite Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.

It is built as a major international event and would be broadcast live.

The chairman of the opening ceremony is His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, Agbogidi, Obi of Onitsha.

He will be assisted by HRM, Igwe Obi Martha Dumkwu, The Omu of Anioma, and other eminent Igbo leaders.

The event is coming out of the event of the ‘International Colloquium on the Igbo Question In Nigeria, Before, During and After Biafra’ held last year on the Monday, March 10, 2014 to Friday, March 14, 2014.

The two volume Books is to be revealed by Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa CFR, Former CEO of Pfizer West Africa and Founding President/CEO of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals, immediate past Chairman of the Nigeria Economic Summit (NESG) and the current President of the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce, a Consummate entrepreneur, writer and lay minister.

The inaugural address is to be delivered by no less persons of Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu OFR; Professor Emmanuel Nwanze and Prince Emeka Onyeso.

It is enormous interest to not that while this event is rounding up on the Thursday, may 21, 2015 all roads and attention will lead to the Akanu Ibiam international Airport opposite the event place to recieve the remains of a great son of Igbo land, Senator uche Chukwumerije enroute to Isuochi, Umuneochi Local Government Area, Abia State.
