Well that’s one way to enforce a stop sign.
A family in Indiana, USA, got a bit of a shock on Friday afternoon when the car they were travelling in collapsed into a sinkhole.
The vehicle had come to a halt at a junction in Evansville, Indiana, when a sinkhole suddenly opened up beneath them.
Thankfully the incident looks a lot worse that it actually was.
And despite the fact that it resembles a scene from a disaster movie, everyone managed to escape without injury.

Evansville director of utilities Allen Mount told local TV station KFVS12 that the sinkhole was most probably caused by the city’s 70-year-old brick sewer line.
Local resident Cristina Romine said she’d noticed that the road felt odd in the days leading up to the incident, adding: ‘It felt soft to us, but we didn’t think it would be a sinkhole.’
