Dr. Amino Malle, a member representing Jalingo, Yorro, Zing Federal Constituency in Taraba state has declared his intention to contest for the Speaker of the House Of Representatives in the 8th Assembly.
Malle, who was re-elected under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress (APC) declared this in a press conference on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Jalingo, Taraba state.
He said ‘ I want to use this platform to formally announce my intention to run for the speakership of the House of Representatives. “Taraba has never been given a fair share of principal positions at the National Assembly, and I think the time has come to correct the imbalance.
The lawmaker also urged his colleagues to support him to realise his ambition for a better Nigeria. He expressed confidence that the incoming administration would tackle the problems of insecurity, corruption, lawlessness and poverty to pave way for rapid development.
