Former Three Lions of England captain, David Beckham enjoys going to watch rugby games these days even more than the sport which made him famous, football.
The 40-year-old who retired from football in 2013 recently had a chat with Radio Times. It was during the course of the interview that he revealed that it wasn’t so much fun going to watch his loved club, Manchester United as a kid. This was all down to a clash of rival fans at match venues.
The UNICEF ambassador went on to reveal that he now enjoys watching rugby more than football.
“I love rugby.
“I love watching it and I love the whole thing. I have enjoyed going to Twickenham more than I have enjoyed watching football.”
When asked why he now enjoys rugby more, he had this to say: “People sitting together with no nastiness.”
