Ferguson Backs Mourinho To Turn Chelsea’s Season Around (VIDEO)

Must read

English Premier League champions, Chelsea have been having an unbelievably poor season and this has led to calls from many pundits for the sack of manager, Jose Mourinho. Former Manchester United coach and legend, Sir Alex Ferguson does not belong to that school of thought.

The 73-year-old while speaking at TechCrunch Disrupt London backed the Portuguese to turn things around for good at Chelsea. He revealed he has spoken with Mourinho a couple of times and believes the Chelsea board should not sack the 52-year-old.

“I’ve been watching Jose recently, and have spoken to him a couple of times.

“It’s the first time he’s been confronted with non-success, bad publicity and adversity and it’s a challenge for him.

“But there are signs that he’s getting back onto a balanced level even though they lost on Saturday.

“For Jose, I think all good leaders will eventually find a solution. I think he’ll find a solution and I think he’ll go back to normal.

“I know the guy and I know the work he’s done in football. I can’t see it lasting long. I can’t see it,” Fergie explained.
