Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has taken a swipe at the Federal Government over the recent wave of insurgent attacks that have been recorded in parts of the North Eastern part of the country.
Speaking on Channels TV, Fani-Kayode lampooned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration for claiming to have won the war against Boko Haram when in fact, the wave of terror attacks has increased under the new government.
“They said the war had been won on the 23rd(of December), on the 25th people were killed in Maiduguri, on the 27th people were killed in Borno State. On the 28th people were killed in Adamawa and as I speak to you today of the 22 local government areas that had been recovered by the Jonathan administration, a number of them are back in the hands of Boko Haram today.”
