More than 200 hundred Anglican priests have staged a protest against the loss of a school to another denomination at the front of the Anambra Government House in Awka on Friday, November 2, 2018.
The priests of the Anglican Communion assembled in their robes and blocked the gate to the Government House.
It is reported that the church is unhappy that a primary school belonging to it had been taken over by a Catholic Church in the state.
The Anglican Communion is accusing Governor Willie Obiana, a Roman Catholic, of taking sides with the Catholic Church and perpetuating injustice.
