Just one day after the Boko Haram sect attacked the city of Jos, Plateau state with a twin bomb blast, the insurgents planned an attack in Bauchi which was unsuccessful.
According to reports, the anti-bomb squad averted what could have been another bombing disaster at densely populated area which could have claimed many lives in the state.
The bombs were arranged to take off around Wunti roundabout near Laushi markey.
An eyewitness who spoke with The Trent said a vehicle loaded with explosives was discovered in the area.
