Canadian singer, Nelly Furtado has been missing in action for a long while. The 36-year-old pop star made her first public appearance in a while on Tuesday night for the premiere of Hyena Road at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The singer who appears to have added a lot more flesh than she used to have was in company of actor, Karl Campbell who played a part in the movie. Nelly and Karl starred together in 2010’s Score: A Hockey Musical and still look to be good friends.
Speaking on the red carpet, Nelly said she has finished work on her new album. Her last album, The Spirit Is Indestructible was released in 2012 and sold only 6,000 copies in the US during in it’s first week.
