“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender shoots will not cease.” – Job 14:7 NKJV
The Scripture says, “For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, and its stump may die in the ground, yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant.” Hallelujah!
A tree without water will die, sooner or later, it’s only a matter of time: but when it seems as though it’s dead, and you begin to water it, it comes back to life!
As water is to the tree so is the word of God to our lives; we really cannot survive without the word of God. Listen, your family, marriage and relationships need the word of God; your business needs the word; your job too; and your studies: these things begin to wither and die without the word of God. But there’s hope!
If you can get yourself to the river! If you can get the word of God into your situation; it doesn’t matter how dead or broken it is, you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, and things will begin to revive. It is not over yet! Go for the word! I see life returning to that situation, in the name of Jesus! Amen.
