A 25-year-old Florida woman, Cheyanne Jessie has been accused of murdering her 6-year-old daughter, Meredith Jessie and 50-year-old father, Mark Weekly.
She allegedly hid their bodies in bags and putting them in a shed. She then went on to call the police to report that her daughter and father were missing. After investigations, the cops have charged Cheyanne for murder and are now suggesting that she killed her daughter to stop her from toiling with her new love affair.
On Sunday, August 2, 2015, Cheyanne who works as a cashier at a store was booked into the Polk County Jail after being slammed with two counts of first degree murder. The Polk County Sheriff, Grady Judd had this to say:
“Nothing’s more horrific than the murder of a child, except when it’s done by a parent, and that’s what we saw”.
He then went on to raise the suspect’s mugshot as he said:
“This is the face and this is the eyes of a cold-blooded murderer, She not only murdered them… but left them in the residence for many days until it became painfully evident she had to move them.”
Genuinely concerned family members had pressured Cheyanne was into calling the cops to inform them of her missing Dad and daughter a fortnight after she had reportedly committed the heinous act.
As at Sunday, August 2, 2015, the results of the autopsies were not out yet.
