BUSTED: Fake Professor Caught While Trying To Establish Private University In Nigeria

A man who is though to be  a fake professor of statistics has been arrested by the National Universities Commission (NUC) while trying to establish a private university: Nigerian British University.

According to a report by Thisday, the man whose name was given as Ambi P.N earlier claimed to be a professor of statistics from Universities in Ghana and Nigeria although he gave conflicting statements later on.

Ambi was invited for a meeting with officials for discussion pertaining the proposed establishment of the University which was to be situated in Lagos and while he was questioned by Professor Julius Okojie, Ambi who had earlier claimed to have received his professorship from the Obong University in Akwa Ibom and had his PhD degree at the University of Science and Technology Kumasi Ghana later said he studied at the University of Ewe, Ghana.

Amazingly, in a 3rd account he claimed to be a staff of Covenant University and was on a sabbatical at Obong University.
