The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign in Jos, Plateau State on Saturday, January 17, 2015 ended in tragedy as two persons were killed in a stampede.
Vanguard reports that the victims were trying to force their way out of the crowded Rwang Pam Township Stadium, venue of the event, when they were trampled on and they gave up the ghost.
At the ill fated rally, the APC presidential candidate, General Mohammadu Buhar had addressed the crowd, promising to restore security in the north eastern zone of the country as well as improve on the agriculture and education sectors.
Buhari also promised to provide massive employment opportunities for the unemployed youths.
