To commemorate World Vasectomy Day being celebrated world wide on Friday, November 7, 2014, the ITV daytime show had on aired the live surgery on a patient simply identified as James.
According to reports, James decided to undergo the surgery based on a decision between himself and his wife Carolyn that they didn’t want any more children, after already having five kids.
He said, “For us, this is a fail safe option – we don’t want anymore children. The time has come, we don’t want any more surprises.”
“I’ve got a bit of anxiety about the procedure but I’ve got to go through with it,”he added.
World Vasectomy day is aimed at enlightening men on the need for family planning.
