Manchester kept up with their perfect start to the 2015/2016 premier league season with a victory at Selhust Park on Saturday. The win didn’t come easy as the Alan Pardew led side proved a hard nut to crack.
The match looked destined to end in a goalless draw when 18-year old Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho stabbed home from close range in the 90th minute to hand the premier league leaders a win. Iheanacho who had only been on the pitch for a few seconds scored after McCarthy parried Samir Nasri’s shot.
What was Iheanacho’s first competitive senior goal for Manchester City was enough to ensure the league leaders went home with the maximum three points.
