Falcons Sail To Semi-Finals With 6-0 Win Against Zambia

The Super falcon has sailed their way into the last four of the African Women Champions on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 after a merciless 0-6 victory against Zambia.

Edwin Okon’s ladies got their first goal in the second minute after a free kick was awarded to Super Falcon and was skilfully played by Oshoala who cpnnected with Okobi to net the first goal

The second goal follows suit as  Ohale doubled her side’s lead after she leaped above She-Polopolo defenders  to head home a free-kick playedby Ngozi Ebere.

Oparanozie scored the third goal from the penalty spot in the 25th minute after a Zambian defender had fouled in the penalty area.

About five minutes into the match , Oshoala harnessed a corner kick which was wisely done by Ebere from the left angle of the corner pitch by heading the ball to secure the fourth goal.

The match which eventually ended in a 6-0 win against Zambia has eventually secure a spot for Final contest with the host Namibia at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek on Friday, October 17, 2014.
