A group of Nigerians – the Wike Diaspora Campaign Group – living in France have organised a rally aimed at getting support for the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan and then Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

The Coordinator of the group, Ukrakpo Henry speaking via a statement said the political development in the country has been taken into cognizance, adding that re-electing President Jonathan would take the nation to greater heights.

He also said Wike, if elected will leave positive impact.

“Nigerians in France had a rally in the city of Paris to mobilise support for the re-election of President Jonathan and Mr Wike. The Wike Diaspora Campaign Group enjoins all Nigerians at home to vote for the duo of Jonathan and Wike for President and governor respectively.

“President Jonathan deserves another chance. Jonathan’s administration diligently implemented its agenda for national transformation in priority areas, that include the expansion of national infrastructure, agricultural development and education,” the statement read.
