This resulted in the visit of officers from Area G police command, said the neighbor who identified himself as Adeboye.

“We heard reports on the social media that Kalu has been arrested for armed robbery. He’s not an armed robber, and he was not arrested for armed robbery”, the neigbhour said.

“The policemen came, we thought they were abductors but they were the police. They were investigating a phone that his younger brother bought that happened to belong to somebody who was abducted in Abuja.”

“They trailed the phone. Now the younger brother has been summoned to come, bring the phone, and bring the receipt such that they can go to where they bought the phone.”

He also indicated that Ikeagwu returned home from the police station at night and that the area commander visited him this morning.

“They carried him away to the station but he came back home yesterday in the night. The area commander from Area G was here this morning.

“Myself and the Area Commander, we went to see him this morning. He’s well, he’s alive, and he’s alright.”
